Is Privacy Killer the solution to Child Sexual Abuse?
In the context of the Global Encryption Day 2023, we are pleased to invite you to attend to a debate on the following topic:
Is Privacy Killer the solution to Child Sexual Abuse?
Child Sexual Abuse Material is not the most spread threat on the Internet, but for victims, it’s a tragedy that we need to address.
We’ll start by exposing projects of some governments to address this: we will highlight amateurism, inefficiency and contra-productive effects of proposed measures, consisting of enabling governments to access to any private content exchanged on the Internet, after authorization given by justice.
This wiretapping of the Internet would rapidly become a “Privacy Killer” threatening everyone, and would even enable expansion of criminal activities over the Internet. We will illustrate how, followed by some paths on how to really address Sexual and Chile Abuse.
