At Internet Society Belgium we believe users should be at the centre, Internet being there to serve the community, and not only a few people.

That’s why we are defending a multi-stakeholders approach through the Internet ecosystem, with the Internet Way of Networking as base, all respecting individual rights as data protection (privacy) and freedom of speech, and security by design.

Some of the key questions from the user community concerns the role of governments and BigTech (aka “GAFAM”) and how to keep the right balance between all actors to keep Internet serving the community.
